On Episode 291…
This episode I’m airing a year-old presentation made by the late, great DIRFloortime® Expert Training Leader and phenomenal educator, Kasheena Holder. I hope you will enjoy the tips she provided our DIR® Parent Network with regarding bridging the gap between home and school. For those who knew Kasheena, this will be a wonderful reminder of her warmth, wisdom, and dedication to families. And for those hearing her for the first time, it’s a chance to be inspired by the passion and insight she so generously shared.

This episode’s PRACTICE TIP:
Let’s reflect on the relationship we have with our child’s school staff.
For example: As Kasheena said, we want to be as positive as we can–even when we feel wronged–in order to build the relationship starting with strengths. Let’s take Kasheena’s words of wisdom to heart and allow them to fill our tank when it comes to relating with the school staff.
I hope you found Kasheena’s presentation from last year helpful and supportive in your efforts to bridge the gap between home and school. If so, please consider sharing it on social media!
Until next time, here’s to choosing play and experiencing joy every day!
