Let’s reflect on the grief we may still carry about our reality being different than what we had envisioned before the birth of our child.
For example: Do you compare your child to other neurotypical children and feel sadness? Do you compare yourself to other parents with neurotypical children and feel a sense of envy? Let’s figure out how to process these feelings so we can be available for the child in front of us who needs us to be their biggest champion.
